Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Surgeon with a minimum of three years\’ experience post-CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) to join our expert surgical team. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, performing a wide range of general surgical procedures and contributing to the continued excellence of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures with a focus on high standards of patient safety and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
- Provide surgical consultations and follow-up care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to training and mentoring junior medical staff and residents.
- Maintain up-to-date medical knowledge and adhere to evidence-based clinical practices.
Candidate Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent specialist accreditation in General Surgery.
- Minimum 3 years\’ post-CCT experience in General Surgery.
- Fellowship of a recognised surgical college (e.g., FRCS) is highly desirable.
- Previous international or Middle East experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural team and adapt to a new cultural and clinical environment.
