We are retained by a private equity-backed professional services business to appoint a Chief Executive Officer. The business is a well-established, high-margin consultancy with a strong recurring revenue base, deep client relationships and a track record of consistent growth. Following recent investment and two bolt-on acquisitions in the past twelve months, it is now entering an accelerated growth phase.

The incoming Chief Executive will lead a team of c.75 people and hold full P&L responsibility, with a clear mandate to roughly double EBITDA over a three-year horizon through a combination of organic growth and selective M&A.

The role

The Chief Executive will set commercial direction, instil accountability across the senior team and build on the firm's strong technical heritage to drive broader, deeper and more profitable client relationships. Key priorities will include building a high-performance sales model, scaling the people-led delivery operation, leading post-acquisition integration and driving the disciplined application of AI and modern tooling across the business.

The candidate

We are looking for a proven Chief Executive or Managing Director from a B2B professional services or advisory background — ideally high-margin and people-intensive. Comfort operating within a private equity-backed environment is important; first-time PE CEOs will be considered.
