PDSVISION UK is a multi-disciplined systems engineering consultancy, software channel partner and training provider with offices in Cambridge, Manchester and Edinburgh, helping engineering companies transform how they both develop products and manufacturing processes and manage risks during operation. We are a member of the PDSVISION Group, a fast-growing international provider of engineering services and software, with 500 staff and operations in the UK, EMEA, SEA and USA.

Within the PDSVISION Group, our UK team leads our Global Centre of Excellence for Systems Engineering, including Functional Safety and Reliability Analysis, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Risk Management. We provide extensive consulting services to support client objectives and strengthen their in-house capabilities.

What We Are Looking For

To support a strategic client undertaking a long-term national infrastructure project within nuclear engineering, we are looking to appoint a Reliability Programme Manager to initially lead an established and growing PDSVISION project team. This team is dedicated to achieving our client’s goals during concept and development phases through the implementation of risk management-based dependability principles, including Design for Reliability, Design for Maintainability, Safety-Led Design and Requirements Traceability. In particular, our objective is to support our client in ensuring their facility will safely meet its operational demands while complying with regulatory requirements.

Managing a team of subject matter experts within our dedicated project team focused on AR&M, RCM and Functional Safety, your role is to provide support, facilitate co-ordination and collaboration, and manage, monitor, grow and efficiently delegate resources while liaising with our client to ensure their objectives, expectations and deliverables are met. More details can be provided at interview stage.

If you are a project manager or senior engineer with experience within systems dependability (reliability, availability, safety, security and maintainability), we believe this is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level and be involved in a significant project. We are interested in both candidates already working within the nuclear sector and those from other industries who are seeking to gain experience in nuclear applications.
