Reporting to the Head of Office, you'll provide efficient support to solicitors, maintaining case files, drafting legal documents, and managing enquiries.

You’ll need excellent communication and audiotyping skills to efficiently handle administrative tasks, from diary management to invoice processing, ensuring smooth operations. You’ll also support the delivery of client-centred legal services across the network.

Main Duties and Responsibilities- Assisting solicitors by performing administrative case related tasks
- Maintaining and updating case files within the case management system
- Audio and copy typing, drafting legal and other documents for your own office and across the PDSO network
- Reception duties with client and contact enquiries
- Dealing with all incoming and outgoing mail through various communication methods
- Processing case documents including downloading, photocopying and scanning
- Diary management
- Processing invoices and requisitioning goods and services through our internal purchasing system
- Using and monitoring Legal Aid Online (LAOL)
- Assist the Network and Systems Coordinator with delegated tasks
- Facilities tasks including Health and Safety, First Aid and Fire Safety
- Departmental training on administrative procedures including work planning and allocation for new business support colleagues
- Other general office and administrative tasks.
