PDSL is excited to present an opportunity for aContract Materials Research Engineerwith our esteemed client. This fixed-term position is available until March 2026, offering a competitive rate of £26.58 per hour (Umbrella) and is Inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the structures and chemical properties of diverse materials through experiments and computer modelling.
- Develop methods to improve material strength, combine materials, or create new materials with unique properties.
- Test materials against specifications for mechanical strength, ductility, and resistance to environmental factors such as abrasion and corrosion.
- Ensure that all products meet established quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have extensive engineering experience, showcasing their advanced knowledge through practical applications. In this senior-level role, you will lead projects and mentor junior professionals.
