The Role
We’re seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to work at our Leeds hospital part time during the week and part time at Bradford on weekend days.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join ourBradford emergency clinicteam for ourday shifts. This role is ideal for a vet who thrives in afast-paced, dynamic, and well-supported environment, delivering urgent and essential care to patients.
At our Bradford location, you will work alongside another experienced vet to provide excellent clinical care. The clinic operates as anemergency-only site, offering a challenging yet rewarding setting where no two days are the same. You’ll benefit from the support of skilled veterinary nurses, receptionists, and management staff who are committed to a collaborative team culture.
This role is based in Leeds,LS9 6PW
Weekend Shift Structure:
- One vet starts at9:00am and works until 6:00pm
- The second vet starts at10:30am and works until 6:00pm
This dual-coverage ensures optimal support throughout the day, allowing for shared caseloads and clinical collaboration.
Whether you\’re looking to gain more experience in emergency medicine or bring your existing skills into a highly supportive team, this role offers both professional development and the opportunity to make a real impact. We are open to discussions around how many weekends a month are worked along with if it was just a Saturday or Sunday shift.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values a strong work-life balance while continuing to practice high-quality veterinary medicine. Our working hours during the week are8:30 – 17:00, we are open to discussions around working hours and days during the week at our Leeds hospital.
About the Hospital
Our hospital veterinary teams have varied clinical interests which means you will have access to a wide pool of knowledge and experience with which to discuss cases and treatment plans.
Our Pet Hospitals are modern and well-equipped and include separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment. The size of our teams allows for a flexible approach to weekend rotas and any out of hours required, with enhanced pay and stand down time in the week when a weekend is worked.
