As a Payroll & Reward Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering the full payroll and reward cycle, ensuring all processes are completed accurately, on time, and in line with statutory and organisational requirements. You’ll maintain payroll records, process payments and deductions and support monthly and year‑end reporting. The role involves working across multiple internal systems, manually inputting data for new starters, processing change forms and ensuring all information is entered accurately and within required timeframes. You will also provide first‑line advice to colleagues on payroll and reward matters when needed and uphold the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity throughout.
We’re looking for someone with experience working in a payroll environment, who is confident and accurate when using a range of systems. Strong Excel skills would be an advantage. This role is for 21 hours per week, and while we’re flexible about how those hours are arranged across the week, we do need someone who can work on both Monday and Tuesday. We’re happy to discuss how the remaining hours are structured to suit the right candidate.
We’re really passionate about being a great place to work, somewhere people feel proud of what they do, connected to a meaningful purpose, and able to make a genuine difference every day. - 25 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays, with option to buy or sell an extra five days - pro rata.
- Three paid special days off: Volunteering Day, Celebration Day and Wellbeing Day annually.
- Generous pension options, with PDSA contributions starting at 5% and rising to 10%.
- Life assurance providing four times your annual salary for added peace of mind.
- AXA Health Employee Assistance Programme, with 24/7 wellbeing support.
