We’re looking for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Bradford. If you thrive on variety and want to make a meaningful impact, this could be the role for you. At PDSA, no two days are ever the same, you’ll see a wide range of medical and surgical cases that will challenge and develop your skills while making a real difference to pets and owners who really need our help.
You’ll bring adaptability and resilience to handle a diverse caseload, along with the clinical confidence to make sound, evidence-based decisions. You’re comfortable discussing realistic treatment options, creating clear plans that balance best practice with each owner’s circumstances, and you take a pragmatic, welfare-focused approach to doing what’s right for every pet. Excellent communication skills are key, you’ll be able to build trust with clients and work positively with colleagues across the hospital.
You’ll be a team player who enjoys a collaborative, supportive environment where sharing knowledge and learning from one another is encouraged. Working alongside an experienced, caring team, you’ll help champion our mission, inspire client contributions and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
We recognise the importance of work–life balance and have a rota designed to support it:
- Part-time role – 15 hours per week
- Working days: Thursday and Friday
