We’re looking for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly bank team at PDSA Nottingham. As a Bank Vet at PDSA, you’ll pick up shifts that work around your life, joining a supportive team to help care for pets and owners who really need our help.

You’ll be comfortable stepping into a busy hospital and handling a wide range of medical and surgical cases, using your clinical confidence to make sound, evidence-based decisions. You’re happy discussing realistic treatment options with clients, creating clear plans that balance best practice with each owner’s circumstances, and you take a pragmatic, welfare-focused approach to doing what’s right for every pet. Strong communication skills are important; you’ll build trust quickly with clients and slot in smoothly alongside colleagues.

You’ll be a team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive environment where people share knowledge and help each other out. Our Pet Hospitals are modern and well-equipped and include separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.
