About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursing Team Leader at our Huyton, Liverpool hospital who will be able to demonstrate excellent performance, a proven track record in customer service, teamwork, and delivering results. Our Team Leaders support the Head Nurse, through leadership of part of the nursing team, to deliver efficient, professional and caring services to the local community in accordance with PDSA policies and procedures. They line manage up to ten Veterinary Nurses / Veterinary Care Assistants that support in theatre, provide inpatient care and carry out consults, encouraging financial contributions from clients and maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the hospital and equipment. Deputising for the Head Nurse in periods of absence Team Leaders help to embed Pet Wellbeing services within the hospital and create a culture of prevention through education and preventive services. Typically the role will be approximately 80% clinical and 20% off rota management time.

About You: The successful candidate will be a Qualified RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, will be expected to keep their professional knowledge updated by taking part in continuous professional development and will be committed to the vision and mission of PDSA.
