Our client are a leading supplier of aluminium and magnesium castings for the aerospace and defence industries. They are looking for a hard working and conscientious individual to join their Foundry team on a long term basis. With vacancies in the Fettling team you will:
- Use belt sanders and grinders to flatten surfaces
- Use hand and air tools to dress welds and prepare parts for inspection
- Inspect castings for obvious defects
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- The ability to safely and accurately use hand and air tools
- Mechanical knowledge
- A degree of physical fitness as the roles involve periods of standing and manual handling
Hours of work: Monday-Thursday and Friday hours a week.
