Do you have previous experience in a manufacturing environment? Are you looking to apply your skills in a new industry? Our client are a leading supplier of aluminium and magnesium castings for the aerospace and defence industries. They are looking for a hard working and conscientious individual to join their Foundry team on a long term basis. With vacancies in the Fettling team you will:

  • Use belt sanders and grinders to flatten surfaces
  • Use hand and air tools to dress welds and prepare parts for inspection
  • Inspect castings for obvious defects

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to safely and accurately use hand and air tools
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • A degree of physical fitness as the roles involve periods of standing and manual handling

Hours of work: Monday-Thursday and Friday hours a week.
