Our client, an established family-run business, are looking for an experienced mechanic to assist in the servicing and repair of small to mid-sized farming/horticultural equipment.
As a multi-skilled mechanic you will join a workshop team providing service, maintenance, and repair solutions for a range of tractors, mowers, sprayers, woodchippers, forestry and stone crushing machinery as well as garden machinery.
Your key responsibilities will include: Service, repair, and diagnose faults on agricultural machinery.
Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure machinery is ready for use.
Use diagnostic tools Collect and return equipment from clients Maintain customer relationships.
You will need: Experience in agricultural/horticultural machinery repair (e. g; tractors, self-propelled mowers, chippers, and chainsaws) Strong mechanical background Strong communication and IT skills Own hand tools Driving licence** **You will need a driving licence/vehicle to access the semi-rural location and to collect/return machinery to client sites Hours of Work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Optional overtime on a Saturday to meet...
