Our client, an established family-run business, are looking for an experienced mechanic to assist in the servicing and repair of small to mid-sized farming/horticultural equipment.
As an Agricultural Engineer you will join a workshop team providing service, maintenance, and repair solutions for a range of tractors, mowers, sprayers, woodchippers, forestry and stone crushing machinery as well as garden machinery.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting pre-delivery inspections and ensuring machinery is ready for use.
Requirements:
- Experience in agricultural/horticultural machinery repair (e.g., tractors, self-propelled mowers, chippers, and chainsaws).
- Strong mechanical background.
- Driving licence - You will need a driving licence/access to a vehicle to access the semi-rural location and to collect/return machinery from clients.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with optional overtime on a Saturday to meet business needs.
