Our client, an industry leading provider of acoustic finishes based in Halling, are looking for hard-working people with site experience that want to learn a trade. The fast-paced nature of their work means there is a constant change of scenery, often working on prestigious projects across the UK.
As a new team member you will join an experienced spraying team and be trained in the initial stages of the trade which include:
- Assembly and operation of spray equipment.
- Preparation of products.
- Selection of equipment and product for each bespoke project.
This is followed by promotion to Edger where you will learning the various finishing techniques for each product.
There are increases in salary as your knowledge and skills grow with expected earnings rising to circa £38,000 after 3 months.
The successful candidate will:
- Be working an average of 8 hours on site, plus fully paid travel to and from site. Overtime rates applicable for any time over 40 hours a week. Early starts from the client's HQ!
- Work away from home, for around 30% of projects. This will be Monday - Friday, weekend work is rare. When working away all accommodation, with your own room, and meals are paid for.
You will need to:
- Be clean shaven
- Hold a current, full (manual), clean driving licence
- Hold a current CSCS card.
- Be a committed team player.
- Above all be hard working and reliable.
No knowledge of their unique trade required, training starts on day one.
