Overview
Are you an experienced Quality Inspector? Have you worked in an Engineering or Manufacturing Environment? Looking for a steady working environment? Our client, a precision engineering firm, are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control/Mechanical Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Control/Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for examining, assessing, and verifying the quality and functionality of their bespoke components. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring that their products meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Complete inspections in line with technical drawings and product specifications.
- Conduct measurements using precision instruments such as: micrometres, vernier callipers, CMM\’s and other relevant equipment.
- Record and document inspection results, report findings to the Quality Manager.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a quality focused mechanical engineering environment
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, including GD&T
- Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Hours and Benefits
Hours of work: Monday-Thursday (Apply online only) and Friday (Apply online only). 38 Hours
Benefits include free on-site parking, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays and pension.
