Do you have previous experience in a manufacturing environment? Are you looking to apply your skills in a new industry? Our client are a leading supplier of aluminium and magnesium castings for the aerospace and defence industries. They are looking for a hard working and conscientious individual to join their Foundry team on a long term basis. With vacancies in the Fettling team you will: * Use belt sanders and grinders to flatten surfaces * Use hand and air tools to dress welds and prepare parts for inspection * Inspect castings for obvious defects You will need: * Experience in a manufacturing environment * The abiity to safely and accurately use hand and air tools * Mechanical knowledge * A degree of physical fitness as the roles involve periods of standing and manual handling Hours of work Monday-Thursday 7.30-16.00 and Friday 7.30-13.30. 38 hours a week Benefits include free on-site parking, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays and pension.
