Do you have good knowledge of Financial Services Payment Environment? Do you have a strong understanding of the processes behind BACS, CHAPS, SWIFT and Foreign Exchange payments, along with direct debits and standing orders? Do you have experience in the operational delivery of banking services? If you have answered yes then this may be the role for you.
Our client, an award winning professional services firm, are seeking a highly motivated, pro-active Payment Officer to work within their busy Transaction and Processing Services Team. The successful candidate will support the Payments Team with day to day operations and ensure all work is handled efficiently and accurately. They will also be the first point of call for any general queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding the various payment methods used in the department.
The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the following payment types: BACS, CHAPS, SWIFT, Faster Payments and SEPA. Obviously you will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal; you will also be confident of picking up the phone and making the occasional outbound call.
