Do you have a strong mechanical background? Do you have experience working with a range of agricultural/horticultural machinery? If so we would love to hear from you. Our client, an established family-run business, are looking for an experienced multi-skilled mechanic/engineer to assist in the servicing and repair of small to mid-sized farming/horticultural equipment.

As a Multi-Skilled Mechanic you will join a workshop team providing service, maintenance, and repair solutions for a range of tractors, mowers, sprayers, woodchippers, forestry and stone crushing machinery as well as garden machinery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Service, repair, and diagnose faults on agricultural machinery.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure machinery is ready for use.
  • Use diagnostic tools.
  • Collect and return equipment from clients.
  • Maintain customer relationships.

You will need:

  • Experience in agricultural/horticultural machinery repair (e.g; tractors, self-propelled mowers, chippers, and chainsaws).
  • Strong mechanical background.
  • Strong communication and IT skills.
  • Own hand tools.
  • Driving licence.

You will need a driving licence/vehicle to access the semi-rural location and to collect/return machinery to client sites.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
  • Optional overtime on a Saturday to meet business needs.
