Do you have experience in a manufacturing/production environment? Have you previously assembled small parts/components? Do you enjoy being part of a small team? Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to assist in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of their products.

As a Production Operative in the Wax Assembly department, main duties will include:

  • Assembly of wax moulds and wax runner systems
  • Use of machinery and hand tools
  • Handling delicate runner wax and soluble wax
  • Attaching riser system to the wax moulds
  • Quality checking products
  • Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
  • Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy

The ideal production operative will have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • A light touch as you are handling delicate materials
  • A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills.
  • You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting.
  • Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle?

Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday 06:00am-4.30pm and Friday 06:00am-2.30pm. 48 hours a week.

Benefits include free on-site parking, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays and pension.
