Do you have experience in a heavy manufacturing, factory or construction role? Are you physically fit? Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Sittingbourne, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to work in their Foundry to assist in the sand-casting process. Full training will be given so you do not need to have worked in this field before.
Main Duties
- Aluminium melt preparation
- Cleaning and preparing moulds for casting
- Pouring molten metal into the moulds (casting)
- Moving moulds following casting
- Removing the ceramic shell from the finished cast
- Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
Requirements
- A Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Construction background.
- A good level of physical coordination
- A good work ethic and time keeping skills.
- You must be physically fit as the role entails a degree of manual handling and long periods of standing.
Shifts - 38 Hours per week
- Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4pm
- Friday 7.30am-1.30pm
