Our client, an established family-run business, are looking for an experienced multi-skilled mechanic/engineer to assist in the servicing and repair of small to mid-sized farming/horticultural equipment.
As a Multi-Skilled Mechanic you will join a workshop team providing service, maintenance, and repair solutions for a range of tractors, mowers, sprayers, woodchippers, forestry and stone crushing machinery as well as garden machinery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Service, repair, and diagnose faults on agricultural machinery.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure machinery is ready for use.
- Use diagnostic tools.
- Collect and return equipment from clients.
- Maintain customer relationships.
You will need:
- Experience in agricultural/horticultural machinery repair (e.g; tractors, self-propelled mowers, chippers, and chainsaws).
- Strong mechanical background.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
- Own hand tools.
- Driving licence.
You will need a driving licence/vehicle to access the semi-rural location and to collect/return machinery to client sites.
Hours of Work:
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Optional overtime on a Saturday to meet business needs.
