Are you an experienced CNC Operator Setter with programming knowledge? Do you have a solid background working with FANUC controls? Do you have a passion for engineering and hands-on manufacturing? Our client, a leading engineering firm based in Kent, is looking for a skilled, diligent, and agile CNC operator setter that works well as part of a workshop team.
Main duties include:
- Manufacturing precision machined components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Setting and operating several multi-axis CNC machines with a range of controllers.
- Carrying out initial quality checks on machined parts.
- Maintaining program, tooling and inspection records for all components produced.
You will have at least 3 years' experience in manufacturing, a strong working knowledge of CNC Milling/Turning. You will also possess:
- Experience with multi-axis milling machines.
- A basic level of programming.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings.
- The ability to work to strict tolerances.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A flexible nature and good communication skills.
- A good understanding of health and safety in an engineering environment.
