My client, an industry leading aerospace engineering firm are currently seeking a CNC Machine Shop Operative to join their manufacturing team. As a CNC Machine Shop Operative, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC machines, turning, milling and drilling, used in the production of components and products.

Main Duties

  • Operate and maintain CNC machines used in the production of components and products
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Use precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet required tolerances
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience of using CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Shift pattern Mon-Thurs 6am-4.30pm and Fri 6am-2.30pm, (48 hours)
