As a Junior CNC Machinist you will work under the guidance of experienced machinists and engineers, assisting in manufacturing precision machined components, and gaining hands-on experience in CNC machining within a modern workshop environment.

As a Junior CNC Machinist you will:

  • Set and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components
  • Load programs and make basic offsets and adjustments
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Measure and inspect components
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
  • Carry out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping

As a Junior CNC Machinist, you will need:

  • Basic experience or training in CNC machining, with a focus on turning
  • Understanding of CNC controls, ideally Fanuc but training will be provided
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Willingness to learn and develop machining skills
  • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Relevant apprenticeship, college qualification, or on-the-job experience
