Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to assist in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of their products.
As a Production Operative in the Wax Assembly department, main duties will include:
- Assembly of wax moulds and wax runner systems
- Use of machinery and hand tools
- Handling delicate runner wax and soluble wax
- Attaching riser system to the wax moulds
- Quality checking products
- Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
- Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy
The ideal production operative will have:
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- A light touch as you are handling delicate materials
- A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills.
- You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting.
- Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle to reach the site for 6am
Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday 06:00am-4.30pm and Friday 06:00am-2.30pm. 48 hours a week. This role is temp to perm.
