Our client is a Beijing-headquartered engineering software company that has established a strong reputation in CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) and simulation solutions in China. They are now expanding into Southeast Asia and have appointed an exclusive distributor in Singapore to spearhead their international growth. The company’s solutions are widely adopted across industries such as electronics, semiconductors, automotive and new energy, helping engineers and enterprises improve product design, optimize performance and reduce time-to-market.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand engineering challenges and present tailored technical solutions through demonstrations, discussions, and requirement assessments.
  • Lead hands-on customer evaluations, including building thermal models, preparing meshes, executing simulations, and consolidating findings into clear reports.
  • Provide domain expertise across sectors such as semiconductor packaging, telecom and 5G devices, data center hardware, consumer electronics, automotive applications, and power-electronics systems.
  • Benchmark and validate performance of our solutions in comparison with established commercial tools.
  • Deliver training, workshops, webinars, and other enablement activities for customers and partners.
  • Work closely with internal engineering and product teams to improve workflows, influence product enhancements, and support broader adoption of our technology.

Requirements

  • Degree in Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, CFD, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 5+ years of hands-on experience in thermal or CFD simulation.
  • Strong practical knowledge of CFD platforms.
  • Understanding of electronics-cooling design principles, including applications in semiconductors, telecom hardware, data center systems, power electronics, or consumer devices.
  • Familiarity with HPC or GPU-accelerated simulation environments is an advantage.
  • Ability to create high-quality technical documentation, training materials, and reports.
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence in customer-facing interactions.
  • Fast learner, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
  • Willing to travel within Southeast Asia.
