Our client, a global healthcare solutions provider supporting pharmaceutical products and market access across multiple regions, is seeking a Business Development Manager to support its growing operations in Southeast Asia. This role will lead and optimize distributor and channel partner network in Singapore and subsequently, across Southeast Asia. In addition, the incumbent will also focus on driving distributor performance, expanding market coverage, and strengthening execution across hospital, retail, clinic, and public sector pharmaceutical channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute distribution and channel strategies in Singapore and the SEA countries.
  • Appoint, manage, and performance-manage distributors across multiple markets.
  • Drive multi-channel sales execution across hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, doctors and distributors.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and distributor agreements.
  • Drive sales execution, forecasting, and inventory performance.
  • Support tenders and institutional channel execution.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical commercial roles.
  • Strong distributor and channel management experience in Singapore and several SEA countries.
  • Proven experience managing both direct and distributor channels including hospitals, retail pharmacies, and physician/clinic networks.
  • Experience in branded generics and multi-channel environments.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.
