Based in Tadley area β 40 hours β straight days β 8am to 4pm (finish at 1pm on Fridays as long as 40 hours completed) β UNLIMITED Overtime available.
Looking for a person wishing to work in a busy engineering machine-shop/workshop, who has a good attitude and who likes to be busy in a varied work role.
The client company is split into 2 business areas: the main section is high-end manual & CNC machining, and the other side of the business is gaining lots of business from the environment agency building early warning flood detection systems. These are rugged/durable sensing devices built into indestructible cabinets.
The job is multi-faceted and will include:
- Monitoring milling and turning machines
- Drilling
- Grinding/finishing in the workshop
- Possibly the building of steel cabinets (washing machine size) used by the environment agency
The person will have a good aptitude for using hand tools in a workshop environment. The candidate will be flexible in helping out in general in the workshop area and happy to take on tasks as required across the business.
