Looking for a Skilled CNC Miller
We are seeking a skilled candidate with experience of multi axis CNC Machining, and Quality inspection including use of CMM
Your duties include
- CNC Machining, and setting
- Operation of 3,4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines.
- Performing CMM inspection and production of inspection reports when required.
- Using initiative to improve quality/throughput etc
- Working to scheduled lists
- Operate within a S's manufacturing environment and to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality standards
EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrable experience of CNC programming is desirable - EDGECAM FANUC or similar but not essential
- Experience of working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances
- Thorough experience of multi axis CNC machining
- Use of inspection tools (able to perform 100% inspection) and CMM desirable
- Thorough experience of reading & interpreting component drawings and instructions
- Working to high quality standards
Qualifications
- Engineering apprenticeship desirable
- National Engineering Technical certificate
- NVQ's or City and Guilds
- General
We operate a standard 37-hour week (4.5) days, with opportunity for overtime, weekend and shift work which is paid at a premium.
