Location: Ludgershall, Wiltshire/Hampshire, UK

Type: Full-Time

Role Purpose: We are looking for a committed and engaged Hydraulic Technician to join our expanding team. To assemble, install, and test hydraulic systems including rams, pumps, and valves on bespoke trailer builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fit hydraulic rams, hoses, couplings, and control valves
  • Connect and route hydraulic lines based on schematics
  • Fill and bleed systems, pressure test for leaks or performance issues
  • Fit power packs, PTOs, and manual control levers as needed
  • Inspect and maintain system cleanliness and integrity
  • Collaborate with welders, fitters, and electricians during assembly
  • Ensure work complies with IVA standards
  • Troubleshoot, fix and repair hydraulic faults
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Work safely and complete site-specific risk assessments prior to starting work

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems (vehicles or plant machinery)
  • Able to interpret hydraulic diagrams
  • Competence using spanners, flaring tools, pressure gauges
  • Knowledge of safe hydraulic system practices (pressures, routing, etc.)
  • Basic fault-finding and diagnostic ability
  • Understanding of health and safety practices

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39/40 hours per week
