We are looking for a 3 & 4 axis CNC Miller. Decent rates of pay dependent on experience (£22phr neg). You can have programming/setting/operating on any mainstream control and machine! Manufacturing aerospace components. This role is all about low quantity and high precision; we need an engineer capable of (as a minimum) setting and operating 3 & 4 axis CNC mills. The right candidate will have a proven background in tight tolerance machining, minimal scrap, have a fantastic attitude and be willing to learn!
TRAINING PROVIDED - Set, operate, edit (as a minimum) and programming (WinMax/Conversational) would be an advantage on 3 & 4 axis milling machines.
CNC Miller Roles and Responsibilities:
- Setting, operating and programming CNC milling machines
- Read and interpret from engineering drawings
- Working closely with the production and inspection team
- Quality checking / inspection checks
- Working to tight tolerances
CNC Miller Ideal Candidate:
- Be able to operate and program CNC multi-axis milling machines
- Able to read and interpret from engineering drawings
- Have excellent communication skills
- Good attention to detail
CNC Miller Working Hours and Benefits:
- Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (Flexi-time)
- Early finish on a Friday if 40 hours complete over the week
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Overtime paid at time and a third

Desirable: Hurco machining knowledge an advantage or a minimum of 5 years production experience.
