About The Role
Role Summary: The Lead Maintenance Engineer is required to manage and support all engineering equipment maintenance requirements, relating to the client Management of Change (MOC) processes. Where major project works are taking place, the same equipment maintenance support described above will be made available to the various nominated third-party engineering companies and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Supply services at an advanced user understanding of Computer Maintenance Management System
- Develop maintenance at issue of Construction work pack and at Close Out issue
- Carry out front end maintenance updates in Computer Maintenance Management System
- Liaise with the Closeout function and Engineering Disciplines throughout As-building
- Chronologically layer updates to Computer Maintenance Management System to avoid clashing with previous changes
- Carry out searches within Computer Maintenance Management System for existing maintenance against locations included in engineering work packs
- Recommend maintenance changes for all engineering modifications in line with relevant maintenance strategies and performance standards taking into account manufacturer’s maintenance recommendations
- Provide updates for Safety Critical Valve Register and Computer Maintenance Management System valve inspection schedule
- Manage alignment of Planned Maintenance Routine timing from construction handover to operations
- Provide guidance on the equipment maintenance support process
- Liaise with both Maintenance Technical Authorities and Works Maintenance System Team on ongoing activities
- Carry out approved maintenance updates within the Computer Maintenance Management System
- Monitor and report on the progress of the maintenance development process
- Liaise with Works Maintenance System Team on updates to maintenance strategies and performance standards
- Develop new maintenance instruction documents (Planned Maintenance documents) for inclusion into maintenance system and Computer Maintenance Management System
- Adhere to the company integrated management system
- Comply with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies
- Adhere to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes, in particular, risk assessment and control, reliability and failure prevention necessary to ensure the safe design, provision and use of tools, equipment and systems
About You
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in a relevant subject (e.g. Business Systems)
Experience / competence:
- Extensive experience in the development, use and delivery of CMMS (e.g. Maximo)
- Understanding of multi-discipline maintenance requirements for engineering equipment
- Ability to interpret client maintenance strategies, performance standards and maintenance procedures for practical application
- Good understanding of engineering deliverables i.e. P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams, Cause & Effects diagrams
- Competent in interpreting multi-discipline construction work pack content to develop maintenance schedules
- Demonstrable experience in training others in CMMS best practise
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant oil and gas industry codes and standards
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications
- Experience in managing and developing others
- Excellent written and spoken English
