About The Role
Role summary:
The Certification / Completions is required for the Provision of services to allow for consistent management of commissioning and completions data and delivery of system handovers in line with project requirements and schedule. Process completion of system handover, in line with project schedule and milestones, ensuring all systems are handed over fully certified.
We are looking for an experienced certification / completions engineer to join our construction team in Grangemouth on a full-time contract basis 6 months work available, 40hrs per week, rate is negotiable and can be via limited company or PAYE via umbrella.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Certification (e.g. Orbit) and HCP activities
- Report on completions progress as required by the project, and/or a suitable action tracker
- Liaise with Construction (on and offshore), and DCC to ensure all HCP activities are completed in accordance with procedures
- Support the project verification process
- Comply and verify of ’Mechanical Completion’ handover packages in line with agreed system of handover schedule
- Ensure Mechanical Completion data, documentation and handover are in accordance with project procedures
- Produce field-test reports (FTR\’s), and liaise with construction and commissioning personnel to ensure correct completion of these
- Provide support to stakeholders and Client to ensure their part of the handover process is functioning correctly
- Work closely with Document Controllers to ensure certification is transmitted and received correctly
- Review certification documents on allocated projects
- Adhere to the company integrated management system
- Comply with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policy
- Adhere to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes, in particular, risk assessment and control, reliability and failure prevention necessary to ensure the safe design, provision and use of tools, equipment and systems
About You
Qualifications:
- Time Served / Modern Apprenticeship approved by City & Guilds or HNC or recognised technical qualification approved by an appropriate awarding body
Experience / competence:
- Demonstrable experience of an Electronic Completions Database and project close-out requirements and activities
- Comprehensive knowledge of commissioning and system handover processes and procedures
- Good understanding of overall project delivery process
- Previous experience in a similar offshore/onshore certification role
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications
- Competent in the use of PC based certification systems
- Excellent written and spoken English
