We are looking for a HGV Driver to join us at PDM Glasgow!
PDM are Scotland\’s leading supplier of Civils, Above Ground and Multi-Utilities products. Operating across our network of 10 branches in Scotland, we pride ourselves in our technical, knowledgeable, and loyal staff who located at all our depots, can provide technical assistance in offering best advice and solutions to our customers.
We rely on our HGV Drivers / Warehouse & Yard Operatives to make sure products get to our customers when they need them. You\’ll be making sure our stock in the yard and warehouse is easily accessible to be picked, loaded, and delivered in our lorries. Working in one of our branches you\’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Here\’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as an HGV Driver
- Provide an efficient and dependable delivery service to our customers
- Building great relationships with customers out on the road and representing our brand
- Keeping up to date with all Health & Safety legislation and administration relating to your role (tachographs, training, delivery notes etc)
- Look after our vehicles, carrying out appropriate checks on a routine basis
- Serving our customers in the yard/warehouse providing a good knowledge of the best products for their projects
- Supporting with incoming deliveries, making sure stock in the yard & warehouse is put away correctly and kept tidy in line with Health & Safety guidelines
