The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.
The position will be based at either our Inverness or Cumbernauld base. This is a full time and permanent position, with a 40-hour contract. The role will require working away from home at remote locations throughout the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Refuelling aircraft both at company bases and remote operating locations
- Driving fuel bowsers and underslung equipment to remote operating locations
- Hooking on and off underslung loads at the remote operating locations
- Rigging of loads for underslung operations
- Preparation of the pick-up and drop-off points
- Ensuring the safety of the working area under and immediately around the helicopter
- Routine husbandry of underslung equipment at our base
Key Requirements:
- Physically fit and enjoy working outdoors. This can include working in poor weather conditions
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to work unsupervised and to be self-motivated
- Flexible approach to working hours and patterns as the position will require working away from home and at weekends when required
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK
Training:
- Full training will be provided for the role working alongside our experienced ground crew in underslung and helicopter operations
- Other training will include ADR (Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) and trailer training (if required)
