We are currently recruiting for a B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join our Engineering Department located at our Cumbernauld Base.
This role is a permanent full-time role, with a 28-day rotating shift pattern equating to an average of 35-hours per week across the cycle. The shift pattern comprises of 10-hour shifts on a cycle of 6 days on/4 days off, followed by 4 days on/6 days off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support line and base maintenance activities at any PDG base and, when occasionally required, at off-site locations.
- Perform aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with approved data, current regulations, industry best practice, and company authorisations, including certification of completed work within authorised scope.
- Complete all maintenance activities safely, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with PDG policies, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure aircraft defects are accurately identified, documented, and recorded following debrief with operational crew members.
- Supervise and provide guidance to engineering and support personnel as required.
- Ensure the correct use, care, and maintenance of tooling and support equipment while maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Carry out aircraft handling, refuelling, role changes, and cleaning activities in support of operational requirements.
- Provide general engineering and operational support to the Engineering Department and wider business as required.
