About the Role

PDG Advertising is growing, and we're looking for a commercially minded, organised and proactive Digital Advertising Account Manager to join our team. You’ll manage relationships with a portfolio of clients advertising across Google Ads, Meta and other digital platforms. This isn’t a hands-on media buying role. You’ll work alongside our Paid Ads Managers who manage campaign execution. Your job is to own the client relationship, understand what each business is trying to achieve and make sure their advertising continues moving towards those goals.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing Client Relationships
    • You’ll be the main point of contact for your clients and responsible for building strong, long-term relationships.
    • You’ll understand each client's business, customers and commercial goals.
    • Lead regular client calls and meetings.
    • Communicate proactively and manage expectations.
    • Identify concerns before they become problems.
    • Make sure clients know what's happening, what's next and why.
  • Understanding Performance
    • Great account management starts with understanding how the client makes money.
    • You’ll understand each client's objectives, advertising budget and the numbers that determine whether their advertising is working.
    • Working with our Paid Ads Managers, you’ll review performance and identify what's working and what isn't.
    • Monitor budgets and commercial targets.
    • Identify opportunities to improve or scale accounts.
    • Turn performance data into clear actions.
  • Keeping Accounts Moving
    • You’ll make sure actions are captured, responsibilities are clear and agreed work gets completed.
    • At any point, you should be able to answer: What are we trying to achieve? How are we performing? What's working? What's not working? What are we doing next?
  • Working With Our Paid Ads Team
    • You’ll work closely with the specialists responsible for campaign execution and optimisation.
    • You’ll provide clear priorities, ensure the team has what they need, review performance with them and translate technical advertising activity into clear client communication.
    • The Paid Ads Manager owns campaign execution. You own the overall client experience.

What We're Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience in account management, digital marketing, paid advertising or another client-facing role.
  • Are naturally good with people and enjoy building relationships.
  • Understand Google Ads, Meta Ads and digital marketing.
  • Are commercially minded and interested in how businesses make money.
  • Are highly organised and comfortable managing multiple clients.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently.
  • Are comfortable discussing budgets and performance.
  • Take ownership and make sure things get done.

The Kind of Person We're Looking For

Your natural instinct should be: "Leave it with me. I'll get it sorted." If something needs doing, you follow it through. If performance isn’t where it should be, you investigate it. If a client has a concern, you address it. If something is working, you look at how we can build on it. We’re looking for someone who takes genuine ownership of their clients and cares about doing a great job for them.
