Position Overview: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data related to client benefits programs for the Strategic Accounts team. This role supports the team in maintaining accurate records, preparing client presentations, and providing assistance in various sales support and administrative activities.
Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position working in our office located in Wyomissing, PA.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Collects, analyzes, and summarizes data from claims reports provided by carriers, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
- Manages the internal plan performance reporting process, including downloading reports, updating data, identifying missing data, reviewing data for accuracy, and creating drafts of PowerPoint presentations and other reporting elements.
- Assists with the preparation of client presentations and new sales activities, such as creating spreadsheets, PowerPoint slides, proposals, plan and cost comparisons, packets, webinars, and scheduling meetings.
- Assists in tracking client deliverables and deadlines to ensure readiness and timely completion.
- Maintains and updates electronic and transactional files, ensuring data integrity and utilizing the system to its fullest potential. Provides recommendations for process improvements.
- Retrieves and enters data for client financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Develops a comprehensive knowledge of the Strategic Accounts client base, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
- Works collaboratively with administrative and client services team members, providing backup support and assistance as needed.
- Performs other tasks and duties as requested to support the agency\’s strategic business goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED (required)
- 2+ years administrative support or client services experience (required)
- Associate degree in Data Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or similar, or equivalent level of prior relevant experience (preferred)
- 2+ years in benefits analysis or data management (preferred)
- Pennsylvania Life, Accident, and Health License (can be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data management and report preparation.
- Knowledge of benefits administration and insurance practices.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data management tools.
