Location: Uxbridge (2 days a week minimum)
Hours: Mon–Thurs: 8:30am–5:00pm & Fri: 8:00am–1:30pm (working from home)
Salary: up to £75,000 PA + 10% bonus
Annual Leave: 22 days AL PA + BHs and we close between Christmas & New Year (increased in line with length of service)
About the Role
Are you a qualified and driven Finance Manager looking to make a real impact in a purpose-led, fast-paced environment? Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role is pivotal in delivering timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making across the business. The ideal candidate will be a qualified finance professional with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar FMCG environment. The right candidate needs to be naturally inquisitive and have an analytical mindset.
Who You Are
- ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within Finance
- Advanced Excel skills (assessment included in interview process)
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Commercially aware with the ability to influence cross-functionally
- Proactive, hands-on, and naturally curious
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take ownership of preparing and delivering monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliation - supported by the Senior and Junior Management Accountants.
- Support with preparing and coordinating quarterly and annual budgets.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis with insightful commentary for internal stakeholders.
- Support the successful execution of the two annual audits, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
- Monitor cashflow forecasts.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior members of staff.
- Quarterly and monthly VAT returns for the UK and Germany.
- Working across multiple countries using several different currencies.
- Additional quarterly and monthly reporting obligations.
- Liaise with budget holders and senior stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in financial policies, procedures, and systems.
- Develop internal controls and maintain compliance with accounting policies.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as required.
