Job Purpose
This is a key position, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a designated site. The purpose of this role is to carry out non-technical repairs and minor PPMs. You will assist in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance at your designated site. All work will be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with all health and safety regulations.
Key Accountabilities
- Safety
- Complying with company health and safety policy at all times.
- Complete all mandatory online training and evolve modules.
- People
- Attend training courses as necessary.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work within agreed timescales.
- Service
- Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance scheduled within agreed timescales and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Respond promptly to service call requests from the helpdesk, assess the job requirements, and carry out repairs as necessary.
- Ensure all tools and equipment needed for minor maintenance and repairs are available and in good condition.
- Work with colleagues to maintain quality standards at all times.
- Represent the company professionally and develop good relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Support other technicians/teams with maintenance work.
- Perform tasks according to KPIs.
- Monitor and update the mercury system with live job updates.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Educated to GCSE/standard grade level or equivalent.
- Trade qualifications are advantageous.
- Experience in building maintenance is required.
- Ability to maintain and repair various equipment.
- Work efficiently and quickly.
- Good PC skills (Apple and Android).
- Respond to service requests within response times.
- Complete PPM schedules within deadlines.
