Hours: 40 hours a week β Monday to Friday | 8.00am β 4.30pm
On call / Standby: 1 week in every 7/8
Overtime Monday to Friday- Paid at 1.5x Hourly Rate for first 5 hours and then 2x Hourly Rate | Overtime Weekends- First 4 hours at 1.5x, then paid at 2x Hourly Rate
Overtime: Paid after 9 hours worked during week
Our client, a national leader in water boosting and pressurisation markets, are seeking a qualified service & repairs engineer to integrate into their team. The client specialises in the installation, commissioning, service, and repair of equipment from manufacturers on both clean and wastewater systems.
Job Purpose:
In your role as Service & Advanced Repairs Engineer you will provide all aspects of on-site servicing, repairs and installation works covering domestic and commercial contracts throughout the UK. On call duty and standby will be required on a rotary basis to allow for 24/7 service cover. You will report directly to the Service Manager.
Key Accountabilities:
- Understand and adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Experience with; Invertor drives, programming, control panels repair and programming, Printed Circuit Boards.
- Knowledge of water control and hygiene
- Maintaining accurate data using a mobile device (customer, asset & contract information)
- Carrying out site surveys and providing relevant information to the office
- Actively be aware of opportunities to promote AGM Services
- Perform Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
- Perform advanced fault finding and repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
- Assist with on-site installation of pumps and pressurised systems
- Complete and submit all required paperwork
- Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary
- Provide accurate information to the relevant department or Manager
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
- Plant Rooms knowledge desirable
- Pump Knowledge Essential
- Experience with; controls, wastewater, control systems and invertors
- Control panels and controls knowledge desirable
- Advanced fault finding and minor repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
- Further Health and Safety training required for the role
- Further product training as required
- Installations of pumps and pressurised systems
- Knowledge of pumps and pressurised systems
- UK Driving Licence
