The role: We’re recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager to lead delivery of HVAC / mechanical projects across commercial premises (managing agents, retail, offices). This is not a building-site/construction site environment — you’ll be managing live environments and coordinating subcontractors to deliver safely on time and on budget.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage multiple mechanical/HVAC projects across the Central Belt (often running concurrently)
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, programmes, RAMS and site activity
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and H&S best practice
- Oversee quality, progress, client communication and handover
- Track costs and reporting (projects typically up to £750k)
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role within Mechanical / HVAC
- Strong knowledge across full HVAC spectrum (AC, ventilation, heating)
- Confident managing multiple subcontractors and multiple live projects
- Mechanical trade qualifications essential
- CSCS / SMSTS not required but advantageous
- Familiarity with project/technical software (e.g., AutoCAD/BIM) advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
