Our client operates over 300 stores nationwide and is expanding its ecommerce presence, increasing key positions to support growth over the next 3 to 5 years. This role reports to the Head of FP&A and involves developing the company's strategic plan in collaboration with them and the Finance Director. You will analyse and report on performance across Ecommerce, Distribution Centres, Retail Stores, and Central Control Costs.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing monthly management accounts for Retail, Logistics, and Central Costs
- Preparing weekly trading reports
- Creating budgets, forecasts, and latest views with precision to ensure accurate cash forecasting
- Compiling and analysing Store P&Ls
- Producing and reviewing E-commerce P&Ls
- Conducting monthly review meetings with budget holders
- Leading quarterly store-by-store review meetings with Regional Managers
- Preparing monthly P&L reports
- Interpreting financial and management data to provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership
- Delivering financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Offering guidance and challenge to the commercial management team on financial implications for both short-term and long-term initiatives
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses of trading promotions and offers
