- Job Purpose
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FM/ PPM Senior Estimator to join their Sales Team.
A key role in the business, with responsibility for managing and delivering high-quality planned preventative maintenance (PPM) bids that support business growth strategy to win new business.
- Key Accountabilities
- Estimating & Pricing
- Develop pricing aligned with client requirements, task schedules, and SLAs
- Review and approve estimates prepared by junior team members
- Provide input into pricing strategies, risk assessments, and value engineering
- Manage internal sign-off processes for all estimates
- Support estimating and costing of Hard FM / M&E services
- Tendering & Proposals
- Review and assess tender documentation, specifications, and commercial requirements
- Contribute to tender and bid support for facilities management contracts
- Conduct site surveys to ensure accurate costings
- Support bid/no-bid decisions through risk and cost analysis
- Produce high-quality tender submissions and proposal documents
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and tender interviews
- Ensure smooth handover of contracts to Operations teams
- Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Source competitive and compliant supplier/subcontractor quotes
- Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions
- General Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Operations teams
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasting data
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all time
Requirements
- Candidates must hold a full UK driving license
- This role requires regional coverage for post tender interviews where required across the South East
