Position: Night Chef (Large Distribution Facility) Location: Crick, Daventry, NN6 7FT Salary: £29,250.00 (£15.00 per hour) Hours: 37.5 Hours per week | Full time and permanent position Shift Patterns: 7.30pm – 3.30am | Thursday – Monday Shifts | Tuesday/ Wednesday OFF Our client is a leading multi-service provider in the Facilities Management sector. Resulting from continued growth they are now looking to recruit a Night Chef to work in the Staff Restaurant of a large retail distribution depot in Crick, NN6 7FT. The staff restaurant caters for around (Apply online only) staff, so our client is looking for someone who has experience of high volume catering in a staff restaurant or similar environment. The role is permanent and is 37.5 hours a week covering dinner service and prepping for the next day shift. The role will be working 5 days out of 7, The shifts for are 7.30pm-3.30am (5 days out of 7, Sunday-Thursday) Key Responsibilities Include: – Food preparation in-line with company recipes Ordering of supplies, storage & stock control Working as part of a catering team Review special dietary needs, as required Develop & maintain positive customer & client relationships Manage & control budgets Candidates who have experience in a retail staff restaurant or similar environment as a Chef would be ideal for this role. Really looking for Chef who has experience of cooking for high volumes / numbers. An immediate start is available, are client are looking for someone who is available to start ASAP or has no longer than a 2 week notice period. Ideally candidates will drive and have their own transport as the location might not be great for public transport for 7.30pm starts. Please note the hourly rate is fixed at £12.50 per hour and is not negotiable and the role will involve working some weekend shifts. So please only apply if you are OK with all of this.
