Our client are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team in Carlisle. Reporting to the accounts team, you will play a crucial role within the business, supporting all sites nationwide. Job responsibilities:
- Processing bank payments on the Online banking system ensuring payment deadlines are achieved and all payments made accurately and on time
- Download bank statements from the bank and import into the finance system
- Posting bank transactions, manual payments, direct debits and receipts to the finance system
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Deal timeously and courteously with any external or internal queries ensuring that query is satisfactorily resolved.
- Preparation and posting of exchange rate adjustments
- Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts on the finance system
- Input and maintenance of coach drivers system
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Flexible approach to work and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ideally experience with financial administration or payroll.
- Able to prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in a financial role or financial qualification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
