IT Operational Support Engineer – 1st Line

A vacancy has arisen for a 1 st Line IT Support Engineer at PD Ports within the IT Service Desk team.
Location: Teesside
Working Arrangements: Monday-Friday – 09:00-17:00
The five main things our 1 st Line Operational Support Engineer will be working on are:
- Windows 11 Rollout.
- Telephone and field support of all PD Ports’ IT users, ensuring all calls are logged, categorised and escalated wherever appropriate.
- Installation of laptops, desktops, printers and other peripherals across Tees, Humber and Southern regions.
- Maintenance of Active Directory accounts and Exchange mailboxes.
- Maintenance of PD Ports stock and asset management system.
We are seeking someone who:
- Has 2 years or more experience as a 1 st line IT support engineer.
- Is customer focussed and has 2 years or more experience in the customer service industry.
- Is an effective problem solver.
- Has a current driver’s license and owns their own vehicle.
