A vacancy has arisen for a full time HGV Trailer Technician at PD Ports within the Fleet Department. Location: Tees Dock, Middlesborough, TS6 6UD.
Working Arrangements: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (07:30am – 15:30pm).
The five main things our Trailer Technician will be working on are:
- Completing planned 8-weekly inspections.
- Applying proven Trailer Technician expertise to maintain and repair equipment.
- Ensuring all tasks are carried out to the highest standards.
- Carrying out on-site repairs as required.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of pneumatics and electrics.
We are seeking someone who:
- Has the ability to work alone as well as part of a team.
- Adheres to all Health and Safety policies.
- Holds a recognised qualification in HGV/Trailer maintenance or a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Possesses strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Maintains accurate service and repair records.
- Possesses a flexible approach with the ability to respond to operational needs at short notice in all weather conditions.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and takes pride in workmanship.
