You will be joining at an exciting time as we develop the practice and build our client base. The purpose built practice has 2 consult rooms, separate cat and dog wards, an ultrasound machine and parking onsite.
We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join us for 20 hours a week for consult only shifts - there is the opportunity to increase hours and get surgery time at the Seaford practice if you are seeking a full time role.
What you will be doing:
- Working 20 hours a week, 1:4 Saturdays
- Shifts will be 3 mornings a week (9am-3pm)
- Supporting to develop practice and build client base
- Working as sole charge
- Support in driving clinical standards and gold standard of Client Care
- Happy with working up cases
You will get to enjoy a consults only shift rota, however the option for surgery is available at the Seaford practice if you wish to do surgery. Our new purpose built building and flexible rota will give you an excellent environment to work in. You will have access to our Knowledge HUB platform as well as having your own CPD allowance to further your own clinical interests. We have CVS led referrals from our colleagues at Lumbry Park who are always on hand for second opinions, clinical advice and referrals. Lewes also provide Cardiology and Dental Radiograph training as well as Telemedicine support via Vet Oracle.
The role is based in Lewes which is within commutable distance from Brighton, Worthing, Newhaven, Seaford, Eastbourne, Halisham, Uckfield, Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Heathfield, Saltdean, Peacehaven and other surrounding areas within West Sussex and East Sussex.
