This is a full-time remote role for a Technical Sales Representative based and covering the South of England and ideally based in the Home Counties / South East region. The role involves promoting PCT's product portfolio, identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with contractors, and specifiers in the construction sector. The Technical Sales Representative will provide technical product guidance, prepare and deliver presentations and training sessions, and support customers in product selection and application.
Day-to-day tasks include managing a sales pipeline, responding to customer enquiries, preparing quotes, and coordinating with internal technical and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions. The position requires regular virtual meetings and travel to customer sites or industry events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Home Counties / South England location
- Strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with experience in B2B or construction-related products a distinct advantage.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Ability to deliver Training and product demonstrations to customers and partners.
- Knowledge of or interest in construction materials, screeds, or building chemistry is highly beneficial.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing a structured sales pipeline.
- Comfort with remote work, digital collaboration tools, and regular virtual client interactions.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the UK for customer visits and events.
- Relevant vocational training or degree in business, engineering, construction an advantage.
